June 21, 2011 - Flower Power
If you can't tell I love flowers. One of my favorite quotes is, "The Earth Laughs in Flowers." I love the colors, shapes and smells. Yesterday me and the hubby walked Stoney Creek and Metro Park and I captured this beautiful daisy (I think that is what it is). It's funny how as kids we don't appreciate all the nature that surrounds us and then we become adults and realize how blessed we are that we can enjoy these beautiful sights.

great shot! you know if it funny that you mention really appreciating natural beauty now, i stop often and look at say the sky and how cool the clouds look and i think sheesh were they like this when i was a kid, and if so why don't i remember stopping and thinking how spectacular it was.
